Baggage Regulations
Binding rules apply to hand luggage and checked baggage on all AirTiketa flights. Permitted items—such as sports equipment, musical instruments, electronic devices, or e-cigarettes—must comply with current aviation security standards.
Baggage & Service Fee Overview
- Checked baggage allowance: 1 bag up to 20 kg included free per passenger.
- Excess weight fee: €10 / CHF per excess kilogram.
- Additional baggage piece (up to 20 kg): €75 / CHF.
- Second bag within the 20 kg limit: €30 / CHF surcharge.
- Hand luggage: 1 piece up to 6 kg included free.
- Unaccompanied Minor (UM) & Pet Transport (up to 6 kg): €50 / CHF each.
Free Baggage Allowance
Each passenger is entitled to one item of checked baggage weighing up to 20 kg (max dimensions 80 x 40 x 40 cm) plus one piece of hand luggage up to 6 kg. For safety and handling reasons, single baggage items exceeding 32 kg cannot be accepted.
Excess Baggage
Baggage exceeding the standard free allowance is subject to excess charges. Overweight baggage is charged at €10 per excess kilogram. Checking an entirely separate additional bag up to 20 kg incurs a flat fee of €75.
Hand Luggage
Only one piece of hand luggage is allowed per passenger inside the cabin. It must not exceed a maximum weight of 6 kg and max dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm (or small handbag 40 x 30 x 15 cm).
