Escort Service for Unaccompanied Minors (UM)
Our accompaniment service is mandatory for children aged 5 to 14 years traveling alone and must be booked in advance.
Upon request by parents or legal guardians, escort service can also be arranged for teenagers up to 16 years of age.
Important Note: For safety and quality reasons, a maximum of 3 unaccompanied minors (UM) can be accepted per flight.
Our trained personnel look after your child every step of the way: from check-in and boarding to onboard care and hand delivery to the designated adult at the destination. In the event of flight delays or schedule changes, we ensure your child is fully cared for and that you remain immediately informed.
How the Escort Service Works – Step-by-Step
1. Verify Travel Documents
Check entry and visa requirements for minors at your destination country well in advance. Ensure all necessary documents (passport, parental authorization forms, emergency contacts) are ready on the day of departure.
2. Book the Service in Advance
The escort service must be requested by phone via our customer service center at least 48 hours before departure. During booking, provide the full contact details of the adults dropping off and picking up the child. The service fee applies per flight segment.
3. Complete Required Forms
The following details will be placed inside a special neck pouch provided to your child at check-in:
- Full names and contact numbers of the dropping-off and receiving adults
- Flight details and route information
4. Departure Airport Procedures
Arrive early at the check-in counter with your child. After verifying your official photo ID, you will hand over your child to our ground staff. Where airport regulations permit, you may accompany your child up to the departure gate.
5. Onboard Care and In-Flight Support
Your child will enjoy priority boarding and be personally handed over to the cabin crew. Our flight attendants will attentively look after your child throughout the flight. Full supervision is also maintained during any layovers or unexpected delays.
6. Arrival and Handover at Destination
Upon arrival, airport staff will guide your child through arrival procedures and hand them over strictly to the authorized person named in the booking documents, following a mandatory photo ID check.

- 100,- € / CHF for round-trip flights
